A vitamin C facial cleanser can help your skin look healthier overall all while inducing collagen synthesis and protecting skin from your mask. Many of our members claim they can’t live without this integral ingredient in their face wash.
Make sure to keep your skin hydrated after all of that washing! Use an oil-free moisturizer – especially if you’re acne-prone!
Tea tree oil is both anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial, which helps treat acne. Gently apply diluted tea tree oil by dabbing it on your face with a cotton round or pad. You should not apply tea tree oil directly to skin and it’s important to dilute the oil with a carrier oil, such as olive oil, coconut oil, or almond oil. Also, be careful when using tea tree oil around the eye area. Don’t forget to follow up with your favorite moisturizer!
AHAs help treat and prevent recurring acne. Acne pimples occur when your pores are clogged with a combination of dead skin cells, oil (sebum), and bacteria. Exfoliating with AHAs can help loosen and remove the clog and using it over time may also prevent future clogs from forming.
