Fall time is around the corner. But at the beginning of the summer did you say to yourself that you were going to get into shape? Set goals of walking, maybe exercising more? So what happened, let us know!

I would love to do more exercising. I need more exercises that I can do at home because between working, taking care of home and going to church I really don't have time for a gym. I have lost a few pounds but have came to a stand still. I will find something else to do to get off the additional 20 pounds I need to lose before summer time.

I love my yoga practice! It is my quiet time as well as my exercise, and keeps me grounded and peaceful (which translates as I am a better Mommy LOL). One fun way of getting more activity in your life is through bellydancing! I teach and perform in my town, and over the last 10 years the bellydance scene has grown dramatically! It's a blast! Women *always* have an amazing time dancing and laughing together, and it is a celebration of our feminine beauty in all it's diversity.

I walk 2 times a week during my lunch - I would walk more but can't always get someone to walk with me - and the downtown area is not safe enough to walk alone - but with a partner and during lunch - it's OK. Start work at 7 - get home at 4:30 - then make dinner, clean up the kitchen and start on my homework (college part-time). When I'm really motivated - I get up 1/2 hour early to exercise - but that goes in spurts

I'd LOVE to have time to exercise! Hubby wakes up at 4am for his 5am work start time, and from then on, I'm getting ready for MY work day, getting my 14-month old ready for HER day at "school" (aka daycare), and trying to leave the house on time! Get home at 6pm, feed the baby, bathe the baby, put her to bed by 8pm...by then, I'm absolutely DRAINED. :(

I would love to exercise more but there just never seems to be time! My son wakes at 5:45 am and ends up waking the other two as well. I homeschool and then the day is done! I have a gym membership but am a little leery of the child care area due to the H1N1....
I used the Tony Horton 10min videso which were great, but when school started in the fall I became busy. Exercising in the dark with the clocks changing is not a safe option for me.

I get up an hour early every morning so that I can have time to exercise. It is a great way to start the day!

I want to exercise more but having three little kids makes it nearly impossible to get out to run. I guess for now my exercise will be chasing them around!

I started walking three times a week, because off medical problems that is all I can do. In September I got the H1N1 Flu followed by mono so I am still so week I can barely leave my house. I did go for a walk the other day about 1/2 mile and have been in bed for two days since. I am hoping to get back on my feet soon so I can start walking again before winter really hits, it is -9 degrees with about 10 inches of snow right now.

I am almost finished wiht my last semester and am now in my internship to teach elementary children. My work and school schedule combined does not allow for exercise. I am almost to the point where I can walk 3 times a week again. I am ssooo excited!

We were walking but rain and cooler temps have derailed that program somewhat. I got my daughter a showdown dance mat for her birthday and we have been using that a lot. We compete against each other and its fun to do. A half hour/hour passes in no time.

I started walking in August and in October it started to rain and hasn't stopped. It is very discouraging. It is hard to set 3 days a week or get on a schedule because of the weather. The malls around here are not covered. I walk when ever I can.

I don't have time for a gym and that's really not my cup of tea. Two years ago I was walking 2 miles a day and I felt so much better both physically and mentally. Then, for whatever reason I started finding excuses not to walk and pretty soon I stopped altogether. It's crazy because I know what a difference it makes! Mary

I joined a gym, but the best thing was finding a workout partner. It makes it a lot more fun and it is easier to go if you know someone is there waiting for you.

I did really well this summer, exersise makes everything better. I sleep better, less migranes, less stress or rather stress doesn't hurt so much. I got busy at work and stopped one day and told my self that I will start tommorow...well, you all know how that went. Why is it that exersise is like going to church? You feel real great that you went, but it is so hard to go. If I can just get there, well for me that is half the battle, well more like 3/4 the battle.

My husband died almost 2 years ago and I am now a single mom of 2 small wonderful boys. I love to exercise the gym I go to has great child care, I get me time, and we all feel great after. It has been a great tool in my recovery. In the summer I would workout for 2 hours then take the boys to the pool and just sit while they played.. It made for a great day.

I have been on a quest to lose weight and be more healthy. I have made amazing strides, but still feel I need to be more active.I even try to walk more steps in my house. Instead of sending one of my children to get something, I run and get it myself.
