Do You Top it Off?

What goes on your burger? What’s in the tossed salad? Are you a “plain” person or do you like to spice it up?

I like grilled pineapple and teriyaki sauce on my burgers. They have to have toasted buns too.

I have been topping breakfast, lunch and dinner with cayenne pepper instead of salt.  Eggs are topped with cheese.  Salads are topped with EVOO, balsamic vinegar, garlic, green onion tops and cane juice.Good taste gives you that satisfaction that will prevent over eating.

My husband likes to take fresh ground beef and spice it up with "secret" seasonings then he throws in chopped bacon and some shredded cheese...from now on he is the burger chef of the house.

Best burger is with bacon, sauteed onions & mushrooms, swiss cheese and Mongomery Inn barbeque sauce on a toasted bun.  Pickle optional on the side.  Yum !  Ginger

I like to mix a bag of spring mix greens with a head of iceburg lettuce.  Top is with croutons and Catalina French dressing and shredded cheese and I'm good to go.

My tossed salad used to be spinach and mandarine orange slices with walnut dressing. But spinach is a no-no for hubby now.  Now I do up a steak salad (really stretches that 4 oz. steak) with romaine or lettuce with tomatoes, onions, and mozarella cheese. I also make a taco salad with a homemade dressing, salsa, Monterey Jack cheese, and instead of tacos, use Doritos for the base.
