We will all gather at the lake. We have a camp there and will meet up there to fish and boat, then move along to my sisters place, which has a smaller lake but all the food and fireworks.

Used to have a lake house on Lake Shafer...and spent every 4th of July there. Don't have that anymore, so I'll probably sit alone at while my husband is recovering from his umpteenth surgery this year. So much for any excitement in my household. Probably mucking horse stalls for all I know!!

I always join my daughter and her family, we all bring food, watch a movie, enjoy the grand children. After dark I watch all of them shoot fireworks (Ipersonally don't do that any more) I enjoy watching them. But I do supply a lot of the fireworks. Occasionally we go somewhere else to watch a major firework display.

Usually we attend an all day party at our neighborhood pool. This year we will instead, attend a "Tea Party" to listen to political speeches, eat bbq, and later watch fireworks. My teenagers are just beginning to become politically aware and want to become envolved and demonstrate their love of our country.

My parents, siblings and I used to go out on the lake in our boat with a bunch of friends and have a big party BBQ and watch the fireworks. But I just recently got married, my husband is in the air force and stationed in Japan so now this year I get to got camping on the beach BBQ and lite off a truck load of fire crackers.

Every 4th of July my whole family gets together early in the day for fun and laughter. The men handle the bbq and the ladies supply everything in between. At the end of the day we gather at the local Veterans Park for fire works. A perfect end for a perfect day.
