My Husband makes the most outstanding cold cut subs which we have had for EVERY Super Bowl that I can remember.  Somewhat healthy since they have lettuce, tomato and onion.  Decadent because they are HUGE and stuffed to overflowing.  I love this food almost as much as I Love FOOTBALL!  Go Giants!!!

We are planning on having cheeseburger sliders, veggie pizza (the cold kind made on crescent roll crust), and pizza pinwheels, and brownies with ice cream for a sweet treat!

As a side-dish to wings, meatballs or whatever else we decide to have, I make a pan of potatoes that AWESOME!  They are usually the hit of the tailgate..you can either grill or make in oven....cut up enough potatioes to almost fill a roasting pan and add a carton of fresh, sliced mushrooms, cut up a medium sized yellow onion, add a small tub of butter, and salt and pepper to taste and grill or bake till potatoes are soft.  (You can adjust the recipe anyway you like, more mushrooms (or none) more onions, you can boil the potatoes to get them started and add the mushrooms later!! SO easy and awesomely delish!

I just learned how to make tiramisu so I'll be bringing it if anyone has a sweet tooth and wants some desert. It's easy to make and only takes half an hour!

We usually have a different menu every super bowl - but this time around we are having my special Diva Bean Dip and Loaded Nachos...so delicious! The nachos are really easy to make: bag of multi grain tortilla chips, bag of shredded mexican cheeses, sour cream, sliced avocados, diced tomatoes, bed of fresh greens, and taco seasoned ground turkey meat. Yum! I tend to just serve the nachos buffet style this way everyone can load their nachos with their favorite toppings! If you are interested in the bean dip recipe I have it posted on my online magazine (http://convozine.com/latincookingdiva) I wrote about the loaded nachos - I'm craving them now!

I can't make enough of my bbq meatballs.  It is so easy.  1 bottle of Kraft original BBQ Sauce and 1/2 cup grape jelly poured over a bag of meatballs (any kind), heat through and watch them disappear

have you thought about making them in individual ramikins?  not much more trouble than layering in a large bowl, and all you will need to do is put a spoon in to serve.

We barbecue whenever we can, it's one of those grills that uses propane, it makes me feel like i'm saving money on my electric bill and i don't have to cook with oil or butter! This SuperBowl sunday we will have bbq chicken marinated in lemon and herbs, hamburgers and hot dogs, potato salad, chili beans and Mexican rice and my daughter and I usually make homemade chocolate chip cookies and cupcakes. Go Giants!

We have lots of finger foods and of course my taco dip! Here's the recipe:
Taco Dip8 0z cream cheese8 oz sour cream1 envelope taco seasoning mixShredded cheddar cheeseLettuce, tomatoes, black olives, onions
Tortilla chips
Mix softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth with a mixer. Mix in taco mix. Top with shredded cheese, then lettuce tomato and olives and onions. Serve with tortilla chips.
Note - if you aren't serving it right away do not put the vegetables on top because they will get limp and make the dip runny.

This recipe is NOT healthy at all but it is very tasty!  We call it "Cheese Fried Bacon" Ingredients:  Club Crackers, Bacon, Parmesean Cheese (freshly grated) Cut slice of bacon in half.  Wrap bacon half around the cracker length wise.  Sprinkle Cheese on top.  Bake in Oven for 12-15 minutes until bacon is done.

we have so many people over and have a great time.  Our menu this year so far is Chicken wings three ways, turkey breast, meatballs, cheese dip, chex mix and deviled eggs.  Sounds good to me.  Oh almost forgot the best part, dessert includes butterfinger dessert, chocolate chip cookies and cupcakes....

we are having a SOUP-er Bowl. Everyone brings a soup in a crockpot or a salad. Host supplies drinks. Someone else tacks on dessert. Someone else throws in freshly-made crusty bread. Healthy, easy, plenty of variety.

All the recipes sound delicious.  We do not have a party.  Since my husband has had MS, he is not a big fan of company.  I will probably make some of these for us.  Thanks again.  I'm going to print this.

We don't watch football at my house but that doesn't stop us from taking any occasion to fix some good food. We like to grill just about anything. Using a charcoal grill, love the flavor we get. Chicken and pork are the stars of the day, we don't eat much red meat around here. So we grill the meat and whatever veggies we have decided on for the day. Number one choice for veggie is cabbage wedges wrapped in bacon, then wrap in foil and grill... Yummy! You can do this in the oven too if your not grilling. My daughter makes a great cheese ball. Cream cheese, finely chopped green onions, chop up some ham, add some worchestershire  sauce and a little garlic powder. I think that's all that goes in it, I've never made it, that's her thing. Anyway, it's wonderful with a sturdy cracker such as the pretzel on one side and cracker on the other. throw in a plate full of veggies to munch on and you have a fantastic meal. Someone bring the dessert! Start the movie...

The best recipe is our hot onion dip . Even my friend who hates onions loves it.  2 cups vidalia onions sliced thin, 2 cups Hellmans mayo,  2 cups shredded Cracker Barrel baby swiss cheese. Mix together . Bake in 9in" round at 400 until a little brown and bubbly, about 30-40 minutes. Spoon on sliced baguettes or use crackers. Yummmm. Go giants.
