With 5 kids, I'm horrible about motivating myself to exercise. To help, my dh and I make it our "date" time in the evening.  We walk a mile to the grocery store, "reward" ourselves with a cold bottled water and air conditioning, then walk home.  Quality time while sneaking in some exercising. :)

I usually stretch after I do my mile on the treadmill. Then clean up around the house.

I work out 6 days a week, and I always do a lot of stretching, drink a lot of water, and take a cool shower! I feel like it just relieves all that stress my 2 kids cause.

I barely have time to squeeze in the workout.  No time for much cool down.  Do a little stretching, but probably not enough!

I stretch before and after my workouts. I drink plenty of water. I usually workout before lunch and will eat lunch afterwards then take a shower.

I have bad knees, so have really been working at strengthening them. After strength work or walking/biking, I stretch a LOT--have found that the stretching is the best I can do for my legs.

I always end my workouts by doing sit-ups with my husband.  The "teamwork" motivates me.  Then we hit the showers.  If we included weights in our workout, then a protein shake is in order.  If not, we go home to relax together and spend time with our son.

Great question! Never really thought about it. I try to continue to walk it out and drink a big glass of water, but I'm usually on the run afterwards.

I always do a warm up and cool down session when working out. My cool down consists of series of stretches that target the areas I worked. Nothing feels better than stretching after a workout! I stay hydrated with water before, during and after my workouts for better performance, and I do a child's pose rest between intense sculpting moves in order to let my muscles regroup.

At 57, I'm a gym junkie. After intense cardio sessions (kickboxing or willpower & grace or stairclimbing) I make sure to stretch and get plenty of water. I train 5 days a week, two of those days with a trainer, focusing on various body parts. At least an hour and a half before each session I make sure to get a good balance (for my body/needs) of carbs, proteins, and healthy fats. I drink lots of water during and after sessions, and get lots of stretching in between sets. The bulk of my carbs come during the first half of the day, and I eat 6 - 7 small meals daily. It helps a lot that my husband follows the same diet and almost the same workout plans. :)

Actually I don't stretch. I read where it's not all that good for you. I do my work out and right after I do what I need to do around the house. That is how I cool down and I drink water.

It's a blessing to find the time to workout so there's not much time to anything else but just that but I do make time to stretch muscles.

I train with a trainer 3x a week and am currently also training for a 1/2 marathon....I try to always stretch after my workout and I ALWAYS follow up with a 100% whey protein shake blended with berries as a cold treat.  It is a perfect treat for all my hard work and does my body good too!
