I love to decorate my sweater or shirt with a cute snowman pin or something festive looking.  And always wear some festive looking socks. I love socks.

I have christmas sweaters that all have just a little flash to them either with silver stitching or something to give it just a hint of sparkle. Then I love to pair my outfit with some awesome heels. If it wasn't icy and snowy all the time I think it would be more fun with strappy open toes shoes but I usually have to go for a closed toe or wear boots and then change when I get where I'm going (as most Alaskans do)

I love to wear a glitzy new accessorie, be it a handbag, piece of jewelry or watch or glimmery makeup.  I love brights as far as clothing, BUT, this will be the time I dress in neutral colors and let the accessory put in the POW punch :)  HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL :)

I just wanted to tell you what a great site this is. Wasn't sure where to post this so I just choose this one. It is such a down to earth place to visit. Thank you for having a stress free site. Oh, by the way, I have a special pin that was my Gramma's. It's a christmas tree that is silver and has a few stones that are colorful. It is not a valuable peice of jewelry but it is so valuable to me. She is a special part of my Christmas memories. I'm off to buy some glittery earrings. That sounds fun Barbara.

THIS IS NOT EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE ASKING BUT I HAVE A WONDERFUL IDEA FOR AN RSVP PARTY! we gals like to have PJ parties occasionally and we all bring a goodie to eat (with plenty to share of course!) and we each bring some kind of new eyeshadows, blushes, lipsticks and nail polish or nail stickers/and then we experiment with the new looks we see in magazines ads and on the internet. to keep costs reasonable we try to coordinate coupons with sales to get the best deals for our money as we all know how expensive make up and other "girly" stuff costs. ( this takes a bit of planning but is definately worth it! ) we then take turns to see if we can duplicate the "looks" of the new seasons! we do mani's and pedi's on each other to see what kind of looks we can achieve. then we vote on who did the best of the "looks" and she is taken out for drinks/dinner/lunch or whatever she wishes as her reward for being the savviest of us all! it's tons of fun but you do have to give up a friday or saturday nite once per 4-6 weeks but we all think it is more than worth it! it gets us out for some girl time which is tough to do when you have families to take care of but our husbands are good sports and we recipricate by letting them get thier time with their buddies for sports or whatever and we watch the kids for them! you all should try it! it beats going to the bars! this would really make a great party and perhaps covergirl, l'oreal or revlon etc could provide us with the coupons for the pary favors! what do yoy think?

What I DON'T do is wear Christmas sweaters. I hate those things! (Sorry, I know a lot of you love them.) For one thing, the weather here is warm so much of the winter that we don't reliably have winter weather at the right time for sweaters. For another...well, I'd much rather wear plain red, or maybe a bit sparklier-than-usual black, to feel festive. Works for other occasions then, too.

I like to wear solid colors liek all black but pair it off with that deep red set of pumps that catches attention or over the top smokey eyes with a deep lipstick color. Also I love accesseries but remeber that there can be to much when it comes to accesseries.

I don't wear make up a lot, but I will at a Christmas Party. Remember that Jesus is the reason for the season! It is also nice to either plan on bringing something or help out in some way. Smile and say "Merry Christmas!"

I used to go all out, but now I keep it real simple.  I wear somewhat festive clothes. I stay away from most any santa stuff. Like Marita said, it is Christ birth that we should keep up front and personal.

I like to wear red, whether it be a dress or a dressy top with some sparkling jewelry.  Also, emerald eye shadow to get me in the Christmas spirit.

I wear my terribly decorated Christmas sweater and cook and bake up a storm. There's always plenty of leftovers for everyone to take home. I love the holidays!
