Fresh From Storage?

Category: Home
Before you put away any suitcases from that vacation or weekend trip, slip a few dryer sheets inside each one. This way, your luggage will have a great fresh smell next time you need them!

Sounds great!! I also use old newspapers, luggage, shoes, picnic coolers, anywhere where odor or dampness is an issue

I got so tired of forgetting one or the other of our body washes and scrubbies when packing that I now just keep a set of everything in the suitcase (in gallon zip loc bag).  These keep the suitcases smelling really nice too.

Thanks for the great tip.  Also, any box that goes to our outbuilding goes with a fabric softener sheet attached.  I have heard they keep bugs away.

This is a great idea, also works great when you store clothes away for the seasons.

I put those dryer sheets in most of my drawers and in containers that I store clothes in but never thought of putting it in my luggage. Great Idea

I've tucked them inside my teenager's sneakers when I couldn't stand it anymore.

I think used dryer sheets give the fresh smell without being overwhelming.  For Christmas decorations I prefer the pine scent or something more seasonal so I put a scented pine cone or sprig in each box

every year when I put my xmas decorations away in the basement, i put in those fabric softner sheets. Close up tight and it really helps! i just started unpacking them this week, and can still smell some fragrance! (and we keep kitty litter box in basement too !)
