I enjoy home made hot chocolate for a treat this time of year.  If you check out all recipes- they have many hot chocolate recipes listed.  It is worth the trouble of melting chocolate for a rich creamy, dreamy cup!

Hubby and I like hot chocolate with whipped cream.  We also like coffee with some Baileys Irish Creme and whipped cream added to it for a nice evening beverage.

My step mom always said it wasn't winter until you burned your mouth on hot chocolate the first time you come in from the slopes. I am looking forward to winter!

Homemade hot chocolate for sure! Super easy to mix up a batch: 6 1/2 cups powdered milk, 5 oz package non-instant chocolate pudding mix, 1 cup powdered chocolate drink mix (i.e. nesquik), 1/2 cup powdered non-dairy creamer, 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. Mix all together and store for up to three months. To make hot chocolate, stir 1/3 cup of mix with 1 cup boiling water. Enjoy!

We drink a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is especially yummy with either peppermint added or marshmallows on top-- or both!

Hot chocolate and skip the spoon. Use a full sized candy cane as a stir stick, you can use peppermint or cinnamon.  Orange and Cherry are also great!

I certainly enjoy hot chocolate during the fall and winter.  I cannot wait to try it with the mocha mint flavored creamer :-)  I sometimes make English tea with grated ginger and honey in it - it warms your body up and soothes your throat too.
