We just rake them & put them in garbage cans for the weekly trash pickup.

If u live in the woods like I do and burn your leaves, get a large tarp and rake them onto it and then drag them to the pile.  It holds more than a wheelbarrow or garbage can and less bending over.

I just got a great product to use cleaning up all the leaves in my yard.  It is a combination blower, vacuum and mulcher made by Toro.  I ordered it online from Sears.  They had a promo with a discounted price & free shipping. The great thing about this unit is that it has a metal impeller.  I used it the last 2 weekends and it did a wonderful job.

I leave mine on our front yard all winter to insulate our plants. We have no grass and all perennial flowers and bushes. Then we rake them up loosely in the Spring and leave most of the leaf mold which is good for the soil. Dede, we have one of those too by Toro! Aren't they great! They also chew up small sticks and branches easily so the mulcher doesn't clog up and jam. I love mine and it's been great in our back yard at at my parent's house.

My husband mulches them with the lawn mower and they eventually settle into the ground or blow away.

We let the kids rake them up, so they can play in them and have fun while doing something productive

In the fall, when the leaves are turning beautiful colors, we pack a lunch and take a drive into the mountains to gather maple leaves that have turned orange, red and yellow.  When we get home we place them between the pages of a heavy book to dry flat for a few days. When they are done drying, we paint modge podge on both sides and let them dry. We then hot glue them to leafless branches and put them in vases around the house or add to a fall arrangement. They turn out beautiful and we got to have a nice day in the mountains ta boot!

We rake up the leaves in to a large pile and then Play in them with the kids. The kids have a BLAST; and it makes it a lot more fun than if we were raking them to get them off the grass.

At the end of the playing; we also found these fun Large Orange Trash bags that have Pumpkin Faces on them. We fill those trash bags with the leaves and use the bags to then decorate our Yard for Halloween. Then When the holiday is over; we set them on teh curb for the Trash man to pick up on his weekly trip.

Any leaves that fall after that; we then save and use in our garden. We scatter them around and then in the spring they will be used as fertilizer/mulch.

One of the landscape places by us has a drop off pile for leaves... just fill up the back of hubby's truck, take it down there, and they make compost out of it!  Win-win for everyone. Better than us bagging it up (and it ending up at a landfill) and they get to end up selling the compost, too :)

How about taking a few nice leaves, and writing a cute note on them.  Leaving them on the mirror, or in a lunch box, or maybe use them as an invitation to a party??  A felt tip pen should work good.!!!

Was it the 235?  This sounds like something I would like to get.

I don't have the pleasure of cleaning up leaves. With halloween soon approaching I would make a scarecrow or some other spooky looking thing.

You can blow leaves or rake them on a tarp and pull behind riding mower or 4-wheeler to your compost or garden or flower bed, So easy and doesnt take long.

It is illegal to burn leaves here.  They have big dumpsters in our alley that is marked household waste - leaves, grass, branches, etc go in there, and then the city picks it up weekly.

I've had a Toro for years and in fact on my second one in 16 years.  I mulch some leaves and use them around trees and shrubs.  The rest I blow into the woods on our property.  The blower is also great for removing powder snow if it's not too deep, and blowing dry or wet grass from lawnmowers and tractors and clearing leaves from our deck or driveway.

We wait until the wind blows them into the neighbor's yard.  We live out in the country and their yard is a disaster anyway.  No complaints yet.

Every week I mow the lawn which also mulches the leaves that have fallen. I have to empty the mower bag much more often, but I feel doing it this way means I won't have quite so many to rake when they really start falling.

We like to collect interesting leaves while walking around the neighborhood, then we make a decoration out of them for the front door.  I just draw a large shape to cut out of a brown grocery sack, then my girls get to glue the leaves onto the shape with plain ol' Elmer's glue.  Then we have an interesting, homemade fall decoration for our door.  As for the many leaves in the yard, our daughters have decided they want to rake them into a big pile so they can jump in them!  After that, my hubby will probably mow over them or use them in the garden/around trees as "mulch".

Years ago we bought a yard sweeper at Sears on sale for under $300. We just drive around the yard with it attached to our riding lawn mower.  (If you mow the yard BEFORE using the sweeper, it doesn't fill up as fast.) Then we dump it in the edge of the yard as it fills.  The pile can be used in the garden next spring.  Best $300 we EVER spent.  It picks up leaves and/or pine straw.  It's like vacuuming the yard!  :)

Last year we use the lawn sweeper and dumped them onto the garden. We didn't chop them 1st and in spring raked back what was there to plant then put the leaves back on. I think I would chop them 1st if we do this again.

We mow our grass really short and pray for wind!!  All of our leaves blew across the street.  For the ones that didn't blow away, we pay our 10 year old to rake them into piles and my husband mulches them with a leaf blower/mulcher.  She earns money and gets to play at the same time.

I have 5 maple trees in my yard and mulch them with the lawn mower after all have fallen and then mix it into my garden soil. My veges in the summertime love it.

we mow them with our lawnmower then rake them onto a large tarp. we then toss them into our garden and shovel them in so they degrade down into the dirt for compost for next years' vegetables. we also throw the rest of the leaves into our flower gardens on top of the woodchips.

I like to iron some between wax paper. Cut the shapes out and hang them on my front glass storm door.

We made leaf shirts one year.  We gathered a variety of leaves, painted them each red, gold, or brown then stuckt them on the shirt (paint side down).  We placed newspaper inside the shirt to prevent paint transfer to the back side.
I bought a lawn sweeper at a garage sale and it was the best $5 ever!  My kids love to push it around, then we empty into a bin for yard waste day.  There are no shortage of leaves around here and the sweeper doesn't get them all, but it lightens my load & the kids are helping.
