I would love to make smoothies but I cannot eat yogurt.  Any suggestions for a substitute?

Can't wait to try these recipes, especially the fruit and veggie one.  Love that there are some veggies in there, but it looks like they won't overwhelm the smoothie!

I love these recipes! Especially the fruit and veggie one. I've tried baby spinach in my smoothies and it has turned out to be a good way to get my greens, because I barely taste the spinach at all! I especially like that these recipes make for one serving, I always end up making too much :).

Well, I can honestly say that I've never put a vegetable in my smoothies.  So this may be a first.  It doesn't sound too scary.

I used to make a simlar fruit drink just using frozen berries and juice.  Strawberries and blackberries and mixed them in the blender with some grape jusice and it was really good. I put blueberries in it and did not like it and have not made it sense. but this article is making me think about trying it again.

We just started making smoothies for breakfast and my kids love them.  I don't even need to add honey.  I use frozen fruit.  It sweetens and also chills to make it even better.  They don't even notice that I add ground flax seed.

Just leave out the yogurt and add more oj or water to get the right consistency if necessary.  Fruit smoothies taste yummy with or without yogurt.  I make these with my kids often and they love them!

Oh this is perfect!  Have a hard time getting my daughter to have something before school and this is something good that she can take in the car on her way to school!  Easy to make and they all sound yummy!  Just perfect!

I love smoothies! They are a great way to use up fruit that is about to go bad - I usually throw anything like that in the freezer during the week and then make smoothies on the weekend.

Instead of regular yogurt, try soy yogurt.  My son is vegan and we have successfully subbed non-dairy ingredients into many recipes.  I like to mix a scoop of chocolate protein powder with a frozen banana, ice cubes and 1/2 cup of milk (or soy milk).
