No More Lost Pillow Cases!

Category: Home
After laundering your sheets, fold them and place the set inside one of the pillow cases. This helps keep everything together in one handy location so when you need to make the bed you're not hunting around for a missing pillowcase or sheet!

i love this idea and use it regularly, but with a twist. we have quite a few pairs of sheets and keep them all in the linen clost together. after I dry, fold and get ready to put in a pillowcase, i slip a dryer sheet in there to keep them smelling freshly laundered until they are actually put on our beds. =)

I make a package of the sheets and pillow cases all together and then everything matches and all you do is pick up i package per bed. bottom sheet foldes top sheet foldes and bottom placed inside a fold  then the pillow case(s)  fold top sheet over all and put away

That is a wonderful idea.  Especially when you have family members who have different sizes of beds and the linens are all stored in one area--frustrating!

I've heard this tip before, and it's one that I use; with different sets of sheets for each person in the house, it's easy to just grab a pillowcase with all necessary elements inside.  Wish I would have heard of this years ago...

This is a super idea....just sorry I didn't come up with it.  After 40+ years of doing laundry....there's always something new to learn...thanks a 'case' load..^ ^

read somewhere, to keep a set between the matress and box springs; then when you change...there they are!

My girlfriend used to work in a laundromat. She folds the fitted sheet corners into each other to where the sheet is now folded into 1/4ths. Then, lay the sheet down, fold top and side in to where they lay flat. Next, fold lengthwise to the desired length (now is about 6-8" wide and long). Finally, fold the sheet in 1/2 a couple of times until it is a small square shape. It does lay pretty flat. The key is to fold those corners together first.

my daughter taught me how to put sheets together, You fold the top sheet length ways and put the fitted on top and the pillow slips on top of all, then she folda them all together, as one. I love doing it that way

What an awesome idea! I also like this because the fitted sheet won't look so messy since I am horrible at folding those. LOL

This is a great tip, one I have used for years.  I might add, for those of us who hang out the laundry, hang the sheets one on top of the other and the pillowcases too.  Fold the sheets together as you remove them from the line, along with one pillowcase, and place them in the other pillowcase.  Your sheets are matched, folded, and ready for putting away when you walk in the door.  This hanging technique also saves clothesline space.
