No More Lost Socks!

Before tossing your socks into the dirty clothes hamper, safety pin the pair together! That way when you wash them, one doesn't disappear!

I love those little mesh bags for any small items. They are very cheap also. I have 3 sizes that I use. When I keep my little grandaughter, I always use the mesh bags, as her socks are so tiny!

For me using a safety pin takes way to much time!!! I just fold one inside of the other and wah lah!  I have done this for years, taught my kids, works like a charm!  = )

Laughing WHAT A WONDERFUL SUGGESTION!!!  I HAVE 6 CHILDREN AND WE CREATED A CLOSET WHICH OF COURSE IS CALLED  THE SOCK CLOSET!!!  IF THE KIDS WERE LOOKING FOR A MATCH BEFORE cHURCH THEY KNEW WHERE IT WAS.  YIKES WAS THAT A SCAREY CLOSET.  i WILL DEFINITELY TRY THIS IDEA IN MY NEXT WASH.IT DEFINFINIT WILL BE A TIME SAVER FOR ME.  THANK YOU!!!

Another way to keep from losing them is to use a zipper bag, like the one for delicates.

I took this idea a step further....the dollar stores offer little round discs with a hole in center that will the socks tightly together during the wash.  I started this when I lost many of my grandson's socks.

I used to have the problem with the washing machine eating socks but now I use net bags to put our socks in. It helps to make sure I have ALL of the mates for the socks and the washing machine doesn't get to eat any! Wink Plus it is a lot faster for me than the pins.

I have several cloth net bags I use for socks.  Especially those very thin "trouser socks" that my washer wants to eat.  Put them in the bag, sling it in the washer along with the rest of the load.

I have too many pairs of socks to pin together it would take waaaaayyyy too long. Someone needs to invent socks clips like chip clips.

Wish I had thought of that.  I always have single socks in a pile near the washer.
