Thanks for the tip. Just had a baby. Lots of leftover alchol wipes from the cord use, didn't know what to do with them, that's a great idea!

For my bathroom and kitchen faucets, I use old drier sheets.  They shine the chrome up perfectly - just try not to get the sheets wet.

Kristin, have you tryed vinegar? and you can get a scratchless pad, i do this for windows if the sprinker outside happens to hit my windows, works great.

i purchased the new brushed nickel look for the shower but boy do they look aweful just after 6 months any one got a better idea?

I've been doing this to my mirror, you can also use vinager and wipe it off with old news paper because the achohol in the ink will make it dry faster:)

If you want to clean the mirrot/glass as well as other places with alcohol- use the 91% one. The higher the % is,  the lower the water content.Leaves a great streakfree shine-we wipe everything with it-phone receivers,doorknobs,,I wish I could get it in a GALLON!

Alcohol does a great job with shine.  I'd like to know what to use for hard water spots.  I haven't found a product yet that doesn't need me to use considerable effort and possible scratching.
