One of my favorites is roasted garlic, simply drizzle a clove that has been chopped across the top  with olive oil and broil for appx 15 mins.  I add to hummus, pasta, put on bread and crackers as a spread.....So many uses, plus it lasts a couple of weeks. It also makes the flavor smoother and sweeter.  Simply divine.

If you use minced garlic when cooking venison (deer meat) or other wild game, it will break up the "wild taste" if there is any.  I usually cook my ground venison with minced garlic and chopped onions and it turns out delicious.  Perfect for a spaghetti sauce, chili, taco meat, sloppy joes, you name it!  And, naturally, the venision is much healthier to eat :)!

very true....and the smaller you mince garic he stronger the flavor. If you want mild flavor slice it thinly or rough chop it
