You don't even have to melt the mints. Just put them on the HOT brownies, they will melt and then spread them as they melt. SO EASY!!! Great for cookies too. Sherry

Another idea is to lay Hershey milk chocolate bars on top of brownies hot out of the oven.  When they soften - a minute or so - spread for a perfect frosting every time.

Great post!  Another idea: Pour batter into your dish, press a peppermint patty a little under the batter, so that when you bake your brownies you have a white minty center.  I do the same thing with segments of Symphony Bars with toffee.  That leaves streaks of toffee through your brownies!  Yum!

Great idea.  I usually just melt them over the top of the hot brownies.

I make brownies as directed,  put mint patties on top (andes will be fine) and put brownies back in oven for 1-2 minutes.  Mints can then be spread like icing because they're soft.  No need for double boier.  Delicious!

This is a great treat.  I will try this with my cakes.  I bake the cake & when done I poke wholes in the top all over then pour sweetened condensed milk over it .  This is really good to use instead of frosting because the cake absorbs the milk and then it is really moist.

I really like that idea!  We love to take the basic brownie recipe and see how we can change it up for variety.I really like the brownie cupcake idea too.

Thats sounds delicious! You can also take a mini cupcake pan fill each with brownie mix and tuck an Andes mint into the mddle of the batter. You can use any type of candy and it is really good too.
