Banana a "peel"

Category: Home
Peel a banana from the bottom and you won't have to pick the little 'stringy things' off of it. That's how the primates do it.

Peeling  a banana from bottom to top is easy. Oh yes watch your nails when doing it.

Only if your banana is over-ripe do you have to peel 'strings'....use them sooner and the flavor/texture/peeling is better and fresher....as for primates...the natural and instinctive way to peel bananas is the stem downward...it is the instinctive way to peel them...all monkeys/apes/gorillas/chimps/babboons/etc and us humans >>>>> peel  them the natural and instinctive way by the stem down...hand a banana to any normal 'primate' and watch them peel from the stem downwards....go to the zoo or discovery channel if you disbelieve....sorry "UNKNOWN"  you are truly unknowing......out of the loop and just plain dumb (for lack of a more polite word)....

I've tried this several times before (after seeing an e-mail with this particular hint) without it working AT ALL for me... but I do wish it would, I hate those strings!

That's so funny my mom just told me that trick the other day and my one year old eats them better because he doesn't get the stringy things in his mouth!! thanks for passing that on.

Be careful when doing this.  If you use your thumb name to break the peel, it may turn black and it's hard to get the stain off.
