Sounds good.  I remember my mother using baking soda to clean our hair

This is true; I do it myself to rid my hair of product build-up!

I will definitely try this.   I've been having problems with buildup in the front part of my hair.  Thanks!

Thank you for the tip, Now all I have to do is get my son to do it! He is on the swim team and spends alot of time everyday in the pool so his hair looks awful! We have tried alot of products but nothing has worked.

Joy's suggestion really works! I do this on a regular basis, and my hair is so nice and soft as a result. A couple times a month does it!

Baking soda is also makes a great soak for very dry, itchy skin! Just pour some in your bath water and soak. It really heps!

We used to use it to help clean out chlorine from our hair in the summertime when it would get greenish. Works wonders and leaves it clean and soft!

Karyn...I only use approx. a teaspoon of baking soda and I add it to the shampoo in the palm of my hand as I begin the wash process.  I have shoulder length hair. If you have shorter hair you could use a little less etc.
