Conditioner for the Legs

Category: Health & Beauty
All of us have bottles of conditioner we didnt like but we keep it "just in case" I use it as a shaving gel!! It works fantastic!! The razor glides across your legs and the conditioner stays on your legs until you go over it with the razor!!

I always use hair condintioner on my legs after using on my hair. another thing I have used it for is if I am out of Fabric softner...I will either put it in on the rinse cycle or use a damp cloth with conditner in the dryer it does a great job..Try it for yourself.

The #1 best shaving stuff is in the men's section.. it's called "Shave Secret".  I is in a small squeezable bottle.  I has 100% natural essential oils with Menthol scent.  You will not have anymore razor burns or cuts because the oil makes the razor do the work for smooth skin and no hair but with a sleek texture on your skin.   It also helps to keep moisture on your body and EVERYONE LIKES SOFT SMOOTH SEXY LEGS AND OTHER AREAS!

It's true, I do it all the time. I think it works the best on legs and underarms, plus leaves the skin extra soft afterwords. For bikini area I still prefer shaving cream, though

Love it! I get free shampoo/conditioner all the time, so this will be a good way to use more of it - especially when it is one that I don't like - instead of them ending up in the "toiletry graveyard."

I agree and I also fill my hands with conditioner before I get out of the shower each day and rub over my legs w/o rinsing it off.. then just blot it off with a towel.. Helps with razor burn and dry skin as well...

I have been doing this for years (glad to know I'm not the only one)!  Normal shaving cream and even the ones made for sensitive skin all give me razor burn.  Hair conditioner is the only thing I can shave with that doesn't irritate my skin and leaves my legs feeling super soft afterwards!

Re: Using shampoo as a shaving gel, that is a great idea. And there is a product called Nioxin Scapl Thereapy Shampoo. It also makes a great shaving gel. It has a nice smelling scent of mint.  You can find it in Beauty supply places, or Most Walgreens stores.,,  The shampoo is recommended for people who have thin or fine hair. It helps make the hair feel fuller.  But, you can use it on any hair texture.

Smile LOL. Excellent Idea...I've been doing this for years because money was tight...Funny how Great Minds Think Alike!!! What I do is MIX any and ALL Conditioners I may have around (samples or from motels stays) Every bit counts and I put them in an old pump bottle of Conditioner I had for just the right amount...My legs have Never Been Smoother.... It Works like a Charm for Under the Arm And Sensative Areas... And if I run out I just buy a 89 cent cheapie and add it to the mix... It's much Cheaper than any Gel or Shaving Cream Out There and does a Much Better Job!!! I'm new to Vocalpoint and appreciate all the freebies and tips..

I've slathered conditioner on my body while in the shower for years.  After rinsing the soap off, I'll cover my body with conditioner and pat dry.  The conditioner glides quickly over your body while it's still wet and your body gets moisturized.

I've done this for years, and even have bought cheap conditioners at the 99 cent store to use for my leg and underarm shaving specifically.  It is definitely less drying than shaving creams/gel and my legs are soft and shiny afterward.  Because the conditioner can help get a closer shave, I shave less!  My tip would be to rub on some aloe vera gel or juice after shaving too.

Also in a pinch you can use it for body lotion. This really does work but i suggest you try it in a little spot first to make sure you aren't allergic. Lotion works for conditioner in an emergency also.

I can't believe it! I had no idea that anyone besides me did that! Not only does it stay on but it makes the hair softer and therefore easier to remove and BONUS it makes your legs extra soft and you're repurposing something that you may have just thrown out which in turn is good for the environment!
