Baking Soda for Many Occasions
Category: Around the House
I use baking soda in just about every room of my house. It makes a great carpet freshner, laundry aid, added with vinegar it helps clear the kitchen drain, sprinkled on an eraser-style sponge it scrubs crayon off of the walls, etc.. Probably the best use I have for baking soda is to sprinkle it in my toddler's bath water to help with her diaper rash. It clears the rash up within a day or so and it's non-toxic so it doesn't really matter if she accidentally "drinks" any of the bathwater. I have been doing this since she was an infant.
