After using lens wipes to clean your eyeglasses take an extra couple of seconds and wipe down the monitor of your computer.

i use a smooth microfiber cloth to clean my glasses,no water needed. you can also clean your mirrors and widows alternating with a wet cloth and wiping with dry one.

Better check and see what is in that cleaner. You should only clean an LCD screen with diluted vinegar or isopropyl alcohol.

cotton is best thing to use on glasses. warm water, soap and a cotton t shirt. as for wiping computer parts, i'd be careful. a great way to remove dust from electronic equipment tho is to use used dryier cling sheets. great for mirrors, tv screens and any general dusting. just make sure they've been through the dry cycle at least once.

That's a GREAT idea! I do the same with my pre-soaped face wipes. Once I've washed my face and rinsed them clean, I wipe down the sink!

I think using warm water and soap is ideal to help clean off bacteria around the areas that touch your face so your skin stays clean too. However, wipes are great to keep in the purse and use during outings.

I don't know...some monitor screens ARE a little delicate...I'd rather check my hardwood floorand see if one of my grandcvhildren spilled something-one wipe might be enough to get up a drop of ketchup or chocolate milk.

I have been doing this for quite sometime. I works well as you never have a dirty dusty screen, and it does not seem harmful. I use for screen and too wipe down key board. With so much about germs these days.

I agree Patricia on the destroying LCD monitors over time. Staples has the cleaning packet with the wipes and a polishing cloth, but one of the salesmen told me to use a dab (and I mean a dab) of alcohol and water on a paper towel and it would accomplish the same thing without buying the packet. Nice guy for letting me in on that since he lost a sale! The wipes may have too much alcohol, that will cause the damage. Be careful.

I liked the idea of using the wipes on the computer monitor. fyi: My optomitrist recommends cleaning glasses under running warm water and using liquid soap on the lenses, then rinse under the water, then wipe with a lint free towel. It gets them very clean!!! (But I still like the wipes too!!)

What a practical idea! I hate 'wasting' the wet wipe if there is still enough moisture to clean something else. In the car, I use it for the rearview mirror. It seems to only gets clean this way. Thanks for the tip!

Having worked at an optometrists' office, I can say, don't waste your money on the disposable clothes. If you don't get a cleaning cloth with your new glasses, cut up an old cotton t-shirt & make your own. The fabric is smooth and won't scratch your lenses plus, the disposable clothes contain a cleaner that can actually leave a residue on your lenses.

I don't waste money on the wipes but use the lens cloth instead and it's safer for your computer.

To Help With Arthritis Pain and SwellingMy husband eats 1 tablespoon of hedgeapple in the morning and his knees don't swell anymore when he comes home from work and the pain level has decreased quite a bit! Also he has HCV assuming he contacted it from the Marine Corp getting the inacculations during Viet Nam Era. The last blood test he had, the blood tests came out normal for the first time in 3 years! We assume it is from the hedgeapple and the other organics I give him. You cut up the whole hedgeapple in bite size pieces and eat one a day, skin and all! Right now, hedgeapples are ready for this process! They grow wild.

Please be very CAREFUL with these wipes, they may be safe for your glasses but can destroy (overtime) your computer monitor screen.
