Sounds delicious BUT I cannot have grapefruit because it negates my blood pressure medication.Grapefruit negates all meds.  Be  warned and good luck.

THOSE WITH CHOLESTEROL PROBLEMS AND ARE ON MEDS NEED TO BE CAREFUL WITH GRAPEFRUIT JUICE. CHECK WITH YOUR DR. FIRST.  THERE CAN BE SOME SERIOUS SIDE AFFECTS.AS FOR MYSELF IT SOUNDS DELIGHTFULLY DELICIOUS.  THANKS FOR THE SUGGESTION, I WILL TRY IT THIS WEEKEND.

Grapefruit does not negate ALL meds, but it does some serious work on most meds, so it is best to err on the side of caution with grapefruit.  Could the recipe be modified to be orange juice rather than grapefruit for those that can't take grapefruit?  Or, maybe lemon or lime juice?  I am sure anything citrusy (sic) would probably work to getting the refreshed feeling going for with this recipe.
I plan on trying it and I am one caffeine dependent junkie.  But, if I make it after supper and put it in the fridge, I can wake up to a tall cold glassful in the morning and maybe have a healthier day all around.  Late in the day, I almost want to have another pot of coffee, but I know if I do, I won't sleep at night.  If I don't sleep at night, I need more caffeine the next day and it becomes a vicious cycle that only ends when I crash.  This could be an answer.
It also looks like a delish treat for the hot afternoons.  It gets over 100 here too.

Sounds great. How about pineapple juice (or any other favorite) for those that can't use grapefruit juice because of medications. Remember, cherry juice can be a healthy benefit!

HI YAALL, THIS IS DELISH!AND YES ITS GREAT WITH OTHER FRUITS BESIDES GRAPEFRUIT. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IF YOU TAKE MEDS FOR  ANTI REJECTION(IF YOUVE HAD A TRANSPLANT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN) THAT GRAPEFRUIT IS A NO-NO. SO TRY ORANGE OR EVEN PAPAYA.
