Deep breathing exercises!  Meditation is usually the way I can blow off steam fast.  But, the best way I have found is to call my husband and hear him say "I Love You", when he answers and knows that the call is from me!

I listen to music from my college days.  There are certain songs that just have a calming effect and can take me to another place.

I get together with my girlfriends for a GNO (girls night out) which usually consists of going to a local restaurant and eating dinner and talking.  If we can't get together, I usually call my best friend and get it off my chest!

Get together w/ my girlfriends to spend the evening scrapbooking, making cards & catching up.  Just a few hours away from everything doing something creative does wonders!  And if all else fails....I schedule a massage!

It helps me to do some reading.  If I'm really stressed out just walking around a mall (without buying anything) can help.

I like to take a hot bath any time of the day, because I'm a stay at home mom. I'm here all the time, so, I take a hot bath. I just close my eyes and think about everything that is good in my life, and be thankful for them. I found this to relieve stress for me.

I found that doing something physical does it for me. I have a black walnut tree in my front yard and when the fruit falls I throw it across the road. If nothing else, I take the dog for a nice walk. Both do wonders for stress.

I do counted Cross stitch it's not always the best stress relief but it puts things into perspective that even the littlest thing can become a wonderful work of art

Shut my mouth. Leave the room. Take a long, hot shower.LaughingI never argue or raise my voice and that makes me a very happy camper. Is it worth it, ever, to argue? Not in my lifetime. I don't want to waste precious minutes angry, upset, or causing anyone else any heartache.
