Ready to save?

I liked it. However, I found that a bag I bought, even with an expiration of still over a week away was not all that fresh when I opened it at home 3 days later. The next time I tried it, it was ok. And if you do not use it right away it definitely has an old taste to it. I try to buy it and eat it right away so this does not happen.

Some of the lettuce toward the bottom of the bag was soggy and starting to go bad, even though purchased and used before expiration date.

Enjoyed the crispness and freshness of the ingredients and added some homegrown cherry tomatoes and cucumbers and tuna to make the salad a complete meal topped with a little shredded cheese

I was disappointed that the bigger stores I shop at, Kroger and Meijer, didn't carry this brand. I finally found it at a local store the day before the coupon expired, so didn't have much choice in type of salad. I chose the Romaine Hearts, and they were expiring the next day. I did enjoy it though, especially compared to the same type of Dole salad. The Dole had so many hard pieces, like from the bottoms of the leaves, but the Fresh Express was MUCH better, having mostly leaves. I would definitely buy this type again.

The grocery store I shop at regularly does not carry Fresh Express products, so it took me a while to try this. I got the Caesar salad kit. The only bags they had in stock had an expiration date a few days away. The lettuce was wilted and orangish, so I threw away half of the lettuce. I ate some of the res of the lettuce and it was good with the croutons, cheese, and dressing that came with the kit. I called Fresh Express about the poor quality of the lettuce and they are sending me a coupon for a new bag. Great customer service.

I enjoy eating a fresh salad. I really like that fact that it is fresh and already taken care of.All i have to do is add the dressing, and its ready to go.

I loved the ease of having the bagged salad. Sometimes I'd really like a salad but don't want to go through the hassle of cleaning and tearing the lettuce. I will definitely eat more salads!
