the best greasy stain remover i've found is the "goop" hand cleaner that my husband, the mechanic, uses for his hands in the garage.  I was a little hesitant to use it at first, since I was afraid it would leave a stain mark on the material, but it washes out totally clean.  I use it for all the greasy stains in my house and have passes this tip on to everyone I know.  Every one that uses it loves it!

Address labels are also great when you go to trade shows or anywhere you have to fill out forms, like to enter contests.

THIS IS A VERY BAD IDEA! NOW THEIVES KNOW YOUR ADDRESS AND CAN ROB YOUR HOME WHILE YOU ARE AWAY! ONLY PUT ONE WAY DESTINATION ADDRESSES ON PAPER NAME TAGS WHEN YOU CHECK YOUR LUGGAGE.

i use address lables instead of filling out my info when I take a chance on various items.  It's so much easier to peel & stick the label than to fill out the ticket.

I never put my home address on luggage anymore.  I use either a business card/address or just a name and cell phone number.  But great ideas for other uses for the address labels!

This idea is also great for times when you go to craft shows or other events where you put your name in for drawings..:)  Save the time of standing there and filling the forms out.

I get so many address labels, I will probably never use them all! They would be also great to label books, school folders, for filling out forms (especially contest forms when out and about), and for kid's toys!

I use my address labels for everything from raffle tickets to our neighborhood block party to mark the dishes that I use.  But when I travel I always put either my parents or my sister's address (knowing that they'll be home) since unfortunately there are people just waiting for an opportunity and checking your luggage at the airport sends a clear message that your house will most likely be empty!

I always have a supply in my wallet and in my car:  for taking chances at work when folks ask you to buy a ticket;  putting them on those "free" note pads as I use them,  that are sent out by non-profits as fundraisers; always stick them on the bottom of a bowl for those "potluck dinner" items; and for someone who wants your email address, just add it to the bottom of your label so they will remember who you are!

I use this type of lable for many different things: They work well for books, film (on the outside of the unprossesed canister) your less likely to have it lost; filling out all kinds of paperwork. I keep a sheet of lables in my purse at all times, you never know when you need to give your address to someone. My doctor's office personel remembers me well, because they did not have to squint and decipher my handwritting as a new patient.

I also use mailing labels, they often come in handy when writing out money orders. I've also used them with mail orders. ( you know those little coupons you find in magazines or the Sunday newspapes, offering good deals on collectibles?) just cut out the coupon and stick on a label.. their great time savers.

I have to agree with Robin. I use to put my address and phone number on all of my luggage when traveling out of town.  But things are a bit different now.  I would keep in mind that your personal contact information will be accessible to those with good and "bad" intentions.  Plus, they now know that you're out of town.  I usually use a business address and my cell phone number on my tags.  It's just one less thing to worry about. I also use them when I cook a meal for someone, I stick the label on the bottom or side of my dish so it is clear whcih bowl is mine.... KUDOS to your idea...

I would also do this in the past, but now only do this for contest drawings.  When we travel, we only use a business address (work or family business) for security purposes.  It's been suggested not to put your home address on tags because theives have been known to rob homes (even in other towns or states) based on an address they picked up off a luggage tag.  :)
