Okay, let’s be honest. Have you ever gotten a text message or e-mail containing an acronym or abbreviation you didn’t understand? When it happens to us (and there aren’t any teenagers around to consult), we either reply vaguely or not at all. So that’s why we researched and compiled the following list of popular Internet shorthand. Not only is it fun to learn them, but think of the time you’ll save typing!

  A3 (Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime)
  AAYF (As Always, Your Friend)
ACORN (A Completely Obsessive Really Nutty person)
  ADBB (All Done Bye Bye)
  AFJ (April Fool’s Joke)
  BBL (Be Back Later)
  BFF (Best Friends Forever)
  BG (Be Good)
  BNDN (Been Nowhere Done Nothing)
BOTOH (But On The Other Hand)
  C4N (Ciao For Now)
CRTLA (Can’t Remember the Three-Letter Acronym)
  CSL (Can’t Stop Laughing)
  CTO (Check This Out)
  CWOT (Complete Waste Of Time)
  D&M (Deep & Meaningful)
  DKDC (Don’t Know Don’t Care)
E123 (Easy as One, Two, Three)
  EML (E-mail Me Later)
  EOM (End Of Message)
  G1 (Good One)
  G2G (Got To Go)
  GR8 (Great)
  H9 (Husband in room)
  HAK (Hugs And Kisses)
  HHOK (Ha-Ha, Only Kidding)
HIOOC (Help, I’m Out Of Coffee)
  IDK (I Don’t Know)
IM2BZ2P (I’M Too Busy To [even] Pee)
IWBAPTAKYBIYSTA (I Will Buy A Plane Ticket And Kick Your Butt If You Say That Again)

I was reading some of these over. again Turns out my stepmom was way ahead of her time. She used to say "natch" for naturally back in the 1960s LOL! I had a cool stepmom!

OMG! These were funny. Hard to believe some teens talk almost predominately in this language nowdays. There should be college classes for this! LOL!
